Once Hamilton's stuff was safely parked in his bedroom, a nice little guest suite on the bottom floor, Jake led him into the kitchen. Hamilton called and left a message at his house in Rawley, letting his parents know he had made it to his "aunt's" house safe and sound. Jake's mother had left earlier that day, and the house was empty until about 3:00, when Consuela would get back from shopping. It was now 1:30.
"So," Hamilton said, taking a seat at the table and looking at Jake eagerly, "what shall we do first?" He stretched back in the chair and looked around the nicely decorated kitchen and breakfast room, and then back at Jake.
"Hmm. Well, Consuela will be back at about 3:00, and that's usually when we have lunch. Late lunch, I hope you don't mind." Hamilton grinned and assured her that he didn't.
"So we have the house to ourselves with nothing pressing to attend to for the next hour and a half?" Hamilton wiggled his eyebrows and sat up a bit straighter.
Jake yawned, and said, "I could show you my room." Hamilton looked up, and Jake averted her gaze to the fascinating fruit display at the center of the table. "That is, if you want to see it. It's nothing much, just my room."
Hamilton smiled and stood up, pulling Jake to her feet. "I would be honored to bask in the glory of everything you." Hamilton made a huge sweeping gesture with his hand and bowed, then offered his arm.
Jake giggled and accepted, leading him up the spiral staircase to her room on the top floor. When they reached her door, she opened it to reveal a spacious, sun-lit room. The walls were freshly painted and the carpet was a light pinkish color. Two Sarah McLachlan posters decorated one wall, while a nice, simple watercolor painting of a girl and a horse was on the other wall. Above her computer desk there was a Harley Davidson calendar. It was all mixed and matched, but so perfectly Jake. Hamilton grinned.
Jake looked at him and had to smile. "What?" she said, sitting down on her bed as Hamilton walked over to some pictures on the bedside table. "Nothing," he replied, picking up one of the pictures. "It's just so much like I thought it would be. It fits you so perfectly. I like it."
The picture was a framed photo of the Rawley Crew Team, the one that was taken after they had won the Regatta. Hamilton smiled at the memory, and put the picture carefully back down on the table. The other picture was one of Jake, around five or six years old, riding a pony with her mom leading it.
"This one's really cute." Hamilton said, waggling his eyebrows at her. Jake smiled and said, "Thanks. My dad took that. More than ten years ago." Her eyes got troubled and her smile was a sad one. "That was the day I got that pony, Lightning, for my 6th birthday. The last birthday before my dad left. I had that little pony for eight years before he died. I still miss the little rascal. Dumped me on the ground more times than I care to remember, but he was the best friend I had after my mom got so busy with her acting..."
Hamilton put the picture down and crossed the room to where she was sitting on the bed. He sat down next to her, and put his arm around her shoulder. She leaned her head against his chest and sighed. "Do you miss your dad?" Hamilton asked tentatively.
"Nah, I hardly remember him. I miss the pony more than my dad." She laughed, and looked up at Hamilton. "It's just hard to be alone all the time except for the maid and an old fuzzy pony. After Lightning died, I was almost 13. I was already into computers, and began hacking around for the heck of it. That's when I just decided to pack up my stuff and start going to a boarding school. Anything to get out of this place."
"So you just went from school to school for the last 3 years?" Hamilton asked, his finger pushing a stray wisp of hair behind her ear.
"Yep, my mom never really noticed, I just let her know where I was and she would visit once in a while. I'd been to four different schools before Rawley, and yet my mother still thought I was at the second school...it was almost funny, if it hadn't been so pathetic. She was shocked to hear that I was at Rawley Girls, and I guess the fact that she didn't know where her daughter was until I sent a letter to her got to her a little, and she decided to become a part of my life again."
"Not exactly what we both needed at that point, huh?" Hamilton laughed, and lay back on the bed, pulling Jake down with him.
"No, not what we needed. But at least she tried. What are you doing, anyway, Hamilton?" Jake asked, turning around to face him on the bed. Hamilton grinned, and said, "All this talking has got me a little tired. Care to nap?" Jake laughed at his word choice ("care to nap?"), and kissed him lightly on the lips.
"Sure. I'm sure you're still having Train-lag." Jake settled into the pillow, her head resting right under his chin, against his chest.
"Yep..." Hamilton barely had time to speak before Jake was breathing evenly, clearly asleep. Hamilton smiled, and put his arm across the bed to bring the blanket up around them. He set the alarm by the bed for 2:45, which gave them more than an hour to rest.
And with that, he too fell into a deep and dreamless slumber.

*beep beep beep*....Hamilton groaned and reached over to set off his alarm, but couldn't reach it. There was something in the way. 'Odd,' he thought. He open his eyes, only to find Jake fumbling for the alarm as well, right next to him.
He hurriedly tried to remember if they had done anything, and then realized that they had just come up here, taken a nap....and then they were supposed to help Consuela with lunch.
Stretching, Hamilton hit the alarm button and the insistent beeping stopped. Jake sighed, her eyes still closed, and Hamilton leaned on an elbow, watching her. He took his hand and brushed the hair from her eyes, and then traced her eyebrows, her lips, and her delicate jawline.
Jake swatted at his hand, still mostly asleep, and Hamilton smiled. He reached down and kissed her on the nose, and Jake's eyes fluttered open.
She smiled up at him, and said, "Good afternoon." Hamilton smiled again, and said, "Hey," then leaned down on top of her and kissed her lightly on the lips. she reached behind his head, bringing him closer, and they continued kissing. The kisses grew more and more passionate, until they were both short of breath and their cheeks were flushed with excitement.
Finally they took a breather, and Jake said, "That was the best wake-up call I've ever had." Smiling at him, she pushed the covers back, stood up, and stretched her arms towards the ceiling. Hamilton got up behind her and hugged her around the middle, kissing the back of her neck.
Jake giggled, and struggled out of his grip. She turned around, kissed him square on the lips, and said, "I gotta go shower really quick, and then we can go help Consuela with the food. If you want to, you can shower downstairs..." Jake looked at him, and Hamilton smiled mischievously.
"No way, Jake. You owe me a shower, big time. Together-type shower. Remember?" He slowly walked toward her, and Jake's grin widened.
"Is that so?" she asked, backing towards the bathroom door.
"That is so. And now, there's no teacher to barge in on us." Hamilton quickened his pace, and Jake laughed and ran into the bathroom. She locked the door behind her, and Hamilton leaned against the door, smiling to himself.
"Come on Jake, please? I won't get 'too wild'. I swear." He heard Jake unlock the door, and open it enough to peek through at him.
"You swear?" She said, smiling. "I already said I swear! I promise!" Hamilton put his hands together like he was begging, and gave her his best sad-puppy look.
"I cannot believe I am agreeing to this after what happened last time, but fine. Okay." She opened the door wide enough for him to get through and locked it after him. They stood and smiled at each other for a minute, and then Jake took off her shirt, and through it into the corner. Soon Hamilton's shirt joined hers there, and after kissing quite passionately for several minutes, Jake's jeans and Hamilton's shorts were in the corner as well.
Jake was feeling slightly nervous, but she trusted Hamilton. Hamilton stepped past the shower curtain, still in his boxers. "I'm keeping mine on, we don't need to go there yet." Jake grinned at him, loving he more with every minute. "Thanks." she said, sincerely. Hamilton just smiled at her.
Jake reached behind to unclasp her bra. "I don't mind going this far, though. Is that all right with you?" She began walking towards the shower, and Hamilton laughed and said, "I am not complaining." Her bra joined the growing pile of clothes in the corner.
Hamilton stared at her, obviously quite happy, and growled his token growl again.
Jake giggled and self-consciously stepped into the shower.
Hamilton looked at her face, as though that was all he needed to see. He couldn't help a few stray glances further down, though, and Jake didn't seem to mind. He was extremely aware of the fact that they were both mostly naked, but reminded himself to stay under control, as Jake didn't want to rush things, and he didn't want to either. He loved and respected her too much.
The shower spray helped to blur their vision a little, and it wasn't so strange, standing there mostly naked. Hamilton cupped her face and kissed her tenderly, and she hooked her arms around his neck, leaning up to continue the kiss.
Hamilton was keenly aware of where her breasts were touching his chest. He broke the kiss and smiled at her, then looked down through the shower spray to gently stroke her breast, feeling the smooth, delicate skin. Jake relished in his appreciation of her.
The water streamed down their backs, and made for an extremely slippery make-out location, but that didn't stop them. When they finally stopped kissing and touching (Hamilton was doing a lot of touching, though Jake found herself getting extremely attached to his pecs) long enough to breathe, Jake grabbed the shampoo and started to soap up. Hamilton did the same, and pretty soon they were kissing with soap in their eyes and not caring.
The shower took nearly a half hour, and by the time they were both rinsed and dried, they were much better acquainted, and even more in love. If that was even possible?

Luckily, Consuela was just getting in the door by the time Jake and Hamilton came down the steps, dressed and clean, and still pretty turned on.
They kissed at the bottom of the stairs, Jake smiling, and Consuela caught that and Tsk-tsked them. "Your mother won't like that, Jacqueline. Watch it." She had a slightly Spanish accent, but good English.
"Sorry Consuela. So what's for lunch?" Consuela started rattling off foods as Hamilton and Jake unpacked the grocery bags. But Jake and Hamilton weren't listening, they were too busy smiling at each other.
Hamilton knew he was gonna have a lot of fun on this trip.
